WATCHING AND WATCHING DVDs IN ORDER TO IMPROVE MY LISTENING SKILL AND PERCEPTION IN SPANISH.

As I have had a 60-hour-Spanish-language course, I decided to take the risk and try something that really worked for me when I was learning English. I am going to watch 24 episodes of the second season of Two and a Half Men.

Although I have been introduced to this show only recently, I noticed that I could learn a lot from it. In fact, I have just finished seasons number 2, 3, 4, 5 in English and I confess that it provided me with a richer vocabulary and (American) expressions – mostly informal English.

So, what’s the point here? I am going to watch, from today until the end of that season, an episode till I finish number 24 (the last one), in Spanish. An episode per night.

According to my expectation –it is 20 minutes each; it will be something like 480 hours of Spanish language exposure. In other words, it will be more than the whole course I have enrolled in last semester.

I’ll be writing about the first week in the next few days.
